Welcome to Kiptewit Girls’ High School website. The purpose of this webpage is to provide parents, students, and our school community with easy access to a wealth of information on our school programs, policies, and activities.
Kiptewit Girls’ High School is a great place to teach and learn! Our teachers are committed to a high-quality learning experience focused on the individual needs of each student. We are striving to be creative and innovative in our instruction to engage students in their learning through a variety of activities, applications of technology, and 21st century skills.

Our History

Kiptewit Girls’ High School is a public boarding school that was hived from the former Kiptewit High School in 2004. Kiptewit High School was started in 1972 as a Harambee day school by the AIC church in conjunction with the community. In 1977 the school became a government-assisted school. Between 2000 and 2007 the school went through turbulent times for some unclear reasons.
